About Duncan Sclare Carpentry & Furniture

My name is Duncan Sclare and I was born in Inverness Scotland and moved to the South of England when I was a child.

I started working as a carpenter in the early 1980s and set up my own business around 1990 in London.

In 2000 I moved to County Mayo with my wife Maura. A new joinery shop was soon set up and I continued producing quality furniture in the west of Ireland.

In total I now have almost 30 years experience (where did the time go).

In November 2007 I was proud to participate in the Niall Mellon Township project in South Africa
